Zain Ahmad
Zain is a sophomore at Loyola University Chicago, majoring in Biology. He is currently an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with plans to work at Superior Ambulance Service. Zain's journey towards a career in the medical field was ignited by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Witnessing the toll it took on his family, particularly seeing the strain on them due to their age and the challenges they faced spurred his decision to pursue a career in medicine. Recognizing the vital role of healthcare professionals during such crises, Zain felt an obligation to contribute positively to his community and alleviate the suffering of others. He is a member of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) and dedicates his time volunteering at the Northwest Community Hospital. In his leisure, Zain enjoys reading, running, playing tennis, studying chess, and finding solace in stargazing.
