Sonia Arora

Sonia graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a major in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. She is specifically interested in sleep, memory, mental illness, pharmacology, and addiction. Sonia would like to do a PhD in neuroscience and plans to conduct her research on the use of psychedelics and other nontraditional treatments for stress-related and depressive disorders. She is originally from the nearby suburb of Northbrook but loves to travel, and hopes to study abroad in France for part of her senior year, where she can practice speaking French since she took French for 8 years. She is also very musical and can play by ear on nearly any instrument. She even played the bassoon in school for five years.
