Lola Fay Papanikolaou
Lola graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a double major in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience and psychology. Her interest in neuroscience began after taking her first psychology class in high school, where she was intrigued by the notion that neural processes produce thoughts and behavior. This interest has only grown stronger in her current studies in college. Fascinated by the brain, and interested in exploring more about the biological basis of memory and cognition, she intends to explore this connection by engaging in research, and aspires to become a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist. Lola hails from Northwest Indiana and some of her hobbies include swimming, listening to music, and playing the piano.
Lola was the runner up for the Outstanding Senior Neuroscience Award and received a Provost Fellowship and was named a Mulcahy Scholar!
