Aasrita Tulluri
Aasri is a junior at Loyola University Chicago, majoring in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Bioinformatics. She was born in India and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She became interested in learning more about neuroscience after taking Anatomy and Physiology and A.P. Psychology in High School. There, she gained a curiosity for neural processes and the science behind memory. In the future she wants to pursue a career in medicine, possibly something with surgery, pediatrics, or emergency medicine. She is also very interested in the neuroscience of AI. Outside the lab, she is involved in several different organizations across campus, including Wellness Advocates and Loyola4Chicago. Fun fact: She recently adopted the cutest kitten and his named is Rajah (from Aladdin!). Aasri loves exploring and experiencing new things, finding new places to eat and spending quality time with friends and family.
Aasri has been named a Mulcahy Scholar!
